1. Who we are and what these terms cover

PinPlanner is provided by [legal entity/trading name and registered address to confirm] ("we", "us"). These terms apply whenever you create an account or use PinPlanner (pinplanner.uk). By signing up, you agree to them.

2. What PinPlanner is

PinPlanner is a web app for planning projects made up of lists of places, shown on a map with UK-verified addressing, so you can assign resources to sites and export the result as a schedule. It's a planning tool, not a full field-service, CRM, or fleet management platform - see the FAQ for what it does and doesn't do.

3. Creating an account

• You must provide accurate information when signing up, and keep your login details secure
• You're responsible for anything that happens under your account
• Logging in on a new device signs out any other active session on your account - PinPlanner doesn't support simultaneous logins from multiple places, by design
• You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your country to create an account

4. Account types and pricing

PinPlanner offers a range of account types with different project, place, and sharing limits, billed monthly. Current plans, limits, and pricing are set out on our pricing page, and may change from time to time - if a change affects your plan, we'll give reasonable notice before it applies to your next billing period. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

5. Your content

You own the data you put into PinPlanner - your project, list, and place data. We don't claim any ownership over it. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to enter any address or data you add, and for its accuracy.

To provide the service, we need your permission to store your data, process it (for example, verifying an address or plotting it on the map), and show it back to you and to anyone you've shared a project with. That's the only thing we use this permission for - we don't use your content for anything else.

6. Sharing and collaboration

• If you share a project, you control who has access and whether they get read-only or edit permission
• You can remove someone's access to a project you own at any time
• Sharing a project makes its contents visible to whoever you invite - see our Privacy Policy for what that means for personal data. You're responsible for what you choose to share, and with whom

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use PinPlanner for anything illegal, or in a way that infringes someone else's rights
• Try to bypass account limits, security measures, or bot protection
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission
• Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or abuse the service
• Resell or provide PinPlanner as a service to others without our agreement

We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Third-party data

PinPlanner verifies UK addresses against Ordnance Survey data and displays maps via Google Maps. We rely on these providers for accuracy - occasionally an address may be unverifiable, ambiguous, or resolve to the wrong location, and PinPlanner surfaces this for you to review rather than guessing silently. We aren't responsible for errors in third-party mapping or address data itself.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep PinPlanner available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access - the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control (including outages at Supabase, Google, Ordnance Survey, or other providers we depend on).

10. Limitation of liability

PinPlanner is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deletion is scheduled 7 days out - logging back in during that window cancels it. After 7 days, your account and everything you own (projects, teams, and everything nested under them) is permanently deleted and can't be recovered. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the service or other users.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where the change is significant, let existing users know by email. Continuing to use PinPlanner after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
